UsRides has a zero-tolerance policy for drugs and alcohol. A driver may not use, or be under the influence of, any drug or alcohol while logged on to the UsRides app or while giving a ride. This includes illegal drugs, marijuana, and any medicine or substance that makes it unsafe to drive.
How to report a concern: if you think your driver was impaired, tap “Report a safety concern” on your trip screen during the ride, or afterwards on the trip in your Activity history. If UsRides staff booked your ride and you don’t have the app, use the form on usridesusa.com/safety. You can also email support@usridesusa.com. If you feel unsafe, ask the driver to stop in a safe, public place, leave the vehicle, and call 911.
What happens next: as soon as we receive a report, the driver is paused from getting or accepting new trips while we investigate. A trip already under way may be finished so everyone can get out safely. The driver stays paused until UsRides completes its review and decides whether the driver is cleared or suspended. We keep a record of every report and decision for 7 years.
